Wally's Annual Grande Marque Champagne Tasting 

The #1 wine and food event of the year, with over 50 Grande Marques champagnes poured and signature dishes served from nearly 20 of Southern California's best restaurants.   The lovely courtyard and ballroom of Santa Monica's Le Merigot Hotel provided the forum for 2007's, 15th Annual Grande Marque Champagne Tasting.  It certainly was a spectacular evening.

Proceeds went to 3 organizations including Madisons Foundation. Fantastico!!

Style for Smiles

A foundation dedicated to children in need.

In the spirit of hope and love, Style for Smiles raises money to help support four children's charities including Madisons Foundation. Their 8th Annual Dinner Party will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at the Bel-Air Bay Club, Pacific Palisades.

In February 2007, Style for Smiles held an Oceans of Love Dinner at the Casa Del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica, CA.

Rags to Riches

RAGS TO RICHES, founded in 1986 by Neil Breton, Michael Geller and Bob Salka, raises money for chilren's charities. Initially started for men in the apparel manufacturing industry, their successful event, Rag Stag Night held in Las Vegas, now attracts men from diverse backgrounds. For the past 2 years, Rags to Riches has donated part of their proceeds from Rag Stag Night to Madisons Foundation.

NORDSTROM TILE PAINTING

On Saturday, February 11, 2006, children from the  San Fernando community painted floor tiles for the Kids' Wear department of the new Nordstrom Topanga store.   

200 participating children ages 5-12 handpainted vivid, whimsical tiles that were permanently installed throughout the aisles connecting the boys, girls and infants departments of the new Nordstrom store.  Each child created a miniature work of art with a "sea-life" theme in a palette of vibrant colors and personalized it with his or her name and age.  Tile artist Charlie Bigger will give lessons in painting with glazes on tiles.  The festivities took place from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Kirk o' The Valley School in Reseda, Calif.

Wells Angels

The WELLS ANGELS motorcycle club inaugurates their very first fundraiser - a 3-day ride to Napa. The proceeds from this fabulous event went to MADISONS FOUNDATION. Many thanks to the committee: Raoul Balcaen, Eric Carlton, Kevin Fitzpatrick, David Kaiser, and Steve Wallace. The group gathers before the ride. Madisons Smith starts the ride.

Voice Overs Care About Life (VOCAL)

August, 26, 2003. Hollywood, CA.

The historic Henry Fonda Theatre in Hollywood rocked to the sounds of The Dan Band at this Madison Foundation fundraiser, sponsored by Voice Overs Care About Life (VOCAL). Featuring hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction, a fun time was had by all. Prominently featured in the theatre lobby was Madison’s new book, How to be a Doctor, a young person’s advice to doctors for dealing with their patients.
